Life Coaching can seriously change your life!

”I never felt I gave any quality time to my family, work or me“.

When I started the life coaching with Julie, I felt my life was out of control. I had too many things to do and never felt I gave any quality time to my family, work or me. I really didn’t have time to give to life coaching. I felt I didn’t need someone else putting pressure on me to do extra or tell me that things weren’t right. Julie asked me to give it a go and I agreed. I filled in a short questionnaire about myself and added where I thought I was on a ‘wheel of life’ chart. I attended my sessions once a week for 2 hours.

”I was not ”weird“ or a ”failure“ ”.

Each week we concentrated on a different aspect of my life, financial, family, work, health to name but a few. We firstly talked about where I was within each section and if I felt I was achieving my maximum potential. At first I found it difficult to talk about how disorganised my life had become.  It wasn’t something I was used to. I found it at times quite emotional, but Julie was very calm and supportive. She helped me to see things more clearly and to understand that most people at some point in their lives have had similar problems. I was not  ‘weird’ or a ‘failure’.

The coaching wasn’t anything like I expected it to be. Julie was relaxing. She didn’t seem to really speak much at all, which meant that I had to make a lot of effort to really think about what ‘I’ was going to do to change my life. I had thought that these sessions would have been about someone else giving me their opinions and targets, but I was wrong, it was always about what I wanted and what I can achieve.

”I feel more confident about myself …“

This short time each week to actually sit down and talk to someone else and most importantly to myself about what ‘Really’ matters, has changed my life forever. I never thought I would be this positive about my life choices and future. I feel more confident about myself and I am on my way to setting and achieving some long-term goals.

Why choose to be coached ?

· Other people’s opinions matter more than your own and you have started living your life through other people’s opinions

· Your opinion of you is not good

· You say things that begin with ”I must“, ”I should“, and   ”I ought to“

Coaching can help people to concentrate on what they want to do differently or better and look at the areas that people want to change in their lives. It can range from money to relationships, personal development and finding a sense of purpose.
